Background

Began illustrating as a book cover designer for small presses such as SoftSkull Press (Brooklyn) and Black Mask Books (Rockville), eventually illustrating and designing for NYU Press and Random House, with highlights including promotional illustrations for authors such as Margaret Atwood and Colson Whitehead.

Began painting in 2012 with a mural opportunity at Artomatic, and has since painted a few thousand smaller acrylic and watercolor paintings as well as over twenty interior murals in the DC/Baltimore area and ten exterior murals — including a large-scale Astrodon johnstoni mural in downtown Frederick, one of the largest murals in Maryland. Most recently completed a mural in downtown Silver Spring by the new Purple Line station.
